Good ol Saturday
I am so happy that when I woke up this morning, I noticed it overcast and WET!! It has been too long without moisture. Thank you Lord.
Ok an update for the past several days. Work is continuing to get better. God is teaching me how to relax at work. He is showing me that it is ok not to know much at all. As a Physical Therapy Tech. I have so much to learn, especially under the Physical Therapist who know so much more than I do. It ended up being pretty stressful, because of my own expectations of thinking I need to know this stuff. What has helped is little comments from my boss like "I don't expect you to know all of this." But I am so fortunate that I am in a non threatening environment where learning is encouraged. Its funny because they don't have high expectations for me which is nice. They only expectations is for me to work hard, try my best and continue to learn.
My dad and I have been carpooling at 5:30 in the morning and it has been great. An awesome time of prayer and talk. Not to mention saving a ton of money on gas!
During our home group last night we had the opportunity to help some new neighbors of a girl in our group. (apartment) Two guys were moving in late at night, and our whole group (about 8) helped them move in really quickly. I have been desiring to be in the world more instead of in my own "Christian bubble". A step in the right direction.
Lastly, it has been interesting how God is bringing old relationships to fruition. And right now they are all girls. Friends and acquaintances from my past have been popping up left and right and it has been neat to catch up on life.
I look back and my life has changed tremendously. It makes me feel good that God is continuing to mold me and change my life inside out.
Lord continue to do your work in me, help me not miss you.
Guide me father
Amen
