On a journey searching for victory

Ok so it has been a really long time since I have been on blogger, but hey, remember ecclesiastes and the seasons (or times for things) ;). Many things have happened since the last time I have been on here. In this point in time, God is continuing to craft something out of me. To be more specific he is trying to help me be rid of my perfectionist mentality and my lack of confidence. There is quite a bit of fear of not being good enough and failing. To tackle this I have listed some things that I think God would want me to pursue.

1. Pray for healing
2. Seek counsel
3. Practice positive thinking
4. Read books on how others have received victory
5. Unselfish mentality, continue to have a servants heart

Here are some bible verses that I am pulling from Joyce Meyers book titled....
HOW TO SUCCEED AT BEING YOURSELF

May Christ through your faith
dwell in your hearts! May you be
rooted deep in love and founded
securely on love, that you may
have the power and be strong to apprehend
and grasp with all the saints what is the
breadth and length and height and depth. Eph 3:17,18

God Restores our soul-Psalm 23:1,3

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear 1 John 4:18

And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it
was very good and He approved it completely. And there
was evening and there was morning, a sixth day. Genesis 1:31

For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves
and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and
welcomes to His heart and cherishes. Heb 12:6

For I am persuaded beyond doubt that neither death nor life, nor
angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening
nor things to come, nor powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything
else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of
God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38,39
